Youth aged 18 and under in Central Manitoulin are invited to participate in a March Break fishing contest! There is currently $1200.00 in donated cash and prizes to be won for longest fish in the two categories of Perch and Lake Trout!

The Municipality of Central Manitoulin draft By-Law 2024-13 Reduced Load Restrictions is now available for a 60 day comment period starting December 17th, 2024.

The Municipality of Central Manitoulin draft By-Law 2024-14 Entrance Permit System (Replace 2000-02) is now available for a 60 day comment period ending April 7th, 2025.

The Municipality of Central Manitoulin Draft Fees By-Law 2025-07 is now available for a 60 day comment period ending April 7th, 2025.

Central Manitoulin Snow Sculpture Contest - Get your family and friends together and build your best snow sculpture between February 1st - February 17th, 2025.

This new year brings a new recycling program to residents of Central Manitoulin. As of January 1, 2025, Central Manitoulin’s residential recycling program is transitioning to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and will be managed by Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit organization that is committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario.
