Reminder: Landfill transfer station hours change to Fall/Winter/Spring hours from Labour Day weekend to May Long Weekend.

 

Thursday & Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

The Providence Bay transfer station accepts household garbage, recycling, tires, bulky items, e-waste, small loads of clean brush, yard waste and small loads of Construction and Demolition waste. Items must be separated and sorted. Tipping fees are in effect for all items other than e-waste, recycling and tires.

 

Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

 

NOTE: Big Lake Landfill is for household waste and recycling only.

 

All household waste being brought to the transfer stations must be tagged starting June 1st, 2023.

 

Tags will be available to purchase at the Municipal Office and at the transfer stations.

 

To access the site you must have a Landfill Identification Card. Ratepayers and long term rental tenants may request a card through the Municipal Office by calling 705-377-5726.
