Due to the ongoing strike of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Canada Post will not be picking up, processing or delivering any mail. This is impacting mail services to and from the Municipality of Central Manitoulin. Residents, businesses, and community groups should use alternative delivery services for any mail being sent to the Municipality to ensure its delivery and the Municipality will work diligently to find other options for delivering property taxes and/or water utility bills.
The Municipal Utility Bills have now been processed. Please stop by or phone the Municipal Office to review your bills or account balance, and/or make a payment.
Payment Options During Strike
The Municipality of Central Manitoulin offers the following alternative payment options for property taxes, water utility bills, and more:
- In-Person: Payments for a number of services can be made at the Municipal Office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Financial Institution Payments – Telephone/Online Banking: Property tax and water utility payments may be made at any financial institution or through your bank’s telephone or online banking services.
