Notice of Herbicide Use on the Invasive Plant Species Phragmites

**Edit - Due to local weather conditions, this has been rescheduled to commence after Labour Day.** Selective spraying will commence tomorrow, August 23rd, 2023, on three small sections of ditch within the Municipality of Central Manitoulin. These areas include: Silver Bay Road just west of the corner with East Road on the south side ditch; across the street from Mindemoya Water Plant at Old Highway 551 at Ketchankookem Trail, and a section of Lake Huron Drive ditch. This will be undertaken by the Manitoulin Phragmites Project under the direction of Winter Spider Eco-Consulting.
