Bluegrass in the Country

Second weekend in June 
Providence Bay, ON

Bluegrass in the Country is a three-day Bluegrass Music Festival that takes place on the second weekend in June at the Providence Bay Fair Grounds. Proceeds from this festival go directly to the Manitoulin Special Olympics.

Homecoming Weekend and Manitoulin Ribfest

June/July - Canada Day Weekend 
Mindemoya, ON 

Homecoming Weekend and Manitoulin Ribfest is a July long weekend tradition for Mindemoya. Hosted by the Central Manitoulin Lions Club, the weekend involves the annual Canada Day parade, children’s events, soapbox races, cookoffs, beer gardens and a ribfest. The majority of the events are located at the Municipal ball fields in Mindemoya, ON.

Providence Bay Agricultural Fair

Third weekend in August 
Providence Bay, ON 

The Providence Bay Fair is an agricultural fair held on the third weekend of August. For 140 years, the Providence Bay Agricultural Fair had been a mainstay for fun and entertainment for the entire family on beautiful Manitoulin Island.  It is an event for everyone, with a agricultural exhibits, Fair Ambassador competition, midway, musical entertainment, and horse pull.  The Agricultural Society now has a large scale music concert venue called the Lone Pine Stage!
