No Change to Landfill or Curbside Pickup During Holidays
Please be advised there will be no change to the transfer station (landfill) hours or curbside pickup schedule during the Christmas holidays.
Where to Place Items For Winter Collection
Do place your garbage, recycling and green box:
- In a visible location on the ground as close as possible to the roadway (not behind shrubs, fences or snow banks)
- On level ground 3-5 feet from curb
Do not:
Landfill transfer station hours change to Fall/Winter/Spring hours

Reminder: Landfill transfer station hours change to Fall/Winter/Spring hours from Labour Day weekend to May Long Weekend.

Please be advised the Household Hazardous Waste Collection date will be July 22, 2023 from 1-4 pm. Roads Building at 7 Lakeshore Road, Mindemoya, ON. More details to follow.
Items are required to be curbside by 6:00 a.m. to access curbside pick-up

Due to recent changes to our waste hauling services, GFL will be re-aligning their route for curbside pick-up in the coming weeks which may result in residents noticing a change in their regular pick-up time.
NOTICE TO RESIDENTS: UPCOMING CHANGES TO SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DEPOT SERVICES – EFFECTIVE JUNE 1st, 2023
As of June 1st, 2023 we will be introducing a bag tag program and bag limits at curbside, as follows.

Residential curbside waste: 2 bag limit (no bag tags required for the first two bags). 40 lbs per bag and size maximum of 30” x 38”.
Curbside Pickup Changes for Garbage and Recycling As of June 1st, 2023
All bags going to Big Lake or Providence Bay Transfer Stations are required to have bag tags.
