The Municipality of Central Manitoulin draft By-Law 2024-13 Reduced Load Restrictions is now available for a 60 day comment period starting December 17th, 2024.

Please be advised that the Municipal Office will be closed Friday, December 13th from 11 am - 3 pm due to staff Health & Safety Training. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Due to the ongoing strike of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Canada Post will not be picking up, processing or delivering any mail. This is impacting mail services to and from the Municipality of Central Manitoulin.

Please be advised the Municipal Office will be closed Friday November 8th, 2024 form 12:45 pm to 3:15 pm for preparation in emergency management. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Please be advised December 2025 meeting schedule will be condensed to accommodate the Christmas holiday season and will be set as follows:

December 3, 2024 - Roads Committee
December 5, 2024 – Water, Waste and Education Committee
December 10, 2024 – Property Committee
December 12, 2024 – Finance & Economic Development Committee
December 17, 2024 – Safety, Security & Health Committee
December 19, 2024 – Council

The Municipality of Central Manitoulin is pleased to announce the J.H. Burt Memorial Arena (Mindemoya Arena) is open for skating! We thank the public for their patience while Parks and Recreation Crews worked diligently during the unseasonably warm weather to create ice and open the facility.
