    Youth aged 18 and under in Central Manitoulin are invited to participate in a March Break fishing contest! There is currently $1200.00 in donated cash and prizes to be won for longest fish in the two categories of Perch and Lake Trout!

  • Mindemoya Arena Open for the Season

    The Municipality of Central Manitoulin is pleased to announce the J.H. Burt Memorial Arena (Mindemoya Arena) is open for skating! We thank the public for their patience while Parks and Recreation Crews worked diligently during the unseasonably warm weather to create ice and open the facility.

    Inspired by Poppy Projects around Canada, the Central Manitoulin Historical Society is organizing an Art Project of Remembrance to honour our veterans. We are collecting crocheted and knitted poppies to display on the exterior of the Welcome Centre/Mindemoya Pioneer Museum.
