The film "DADA" was shot in 2022 primarily in Providence Bay and Dominion Bay areas on the south shore of Manitoulin Island in the Municipality of Central Manitoulin.

Wagg's Woods Trail has reopened as of 1:05 pm 2024-08-19. The trail had been closed for a routine inspection after the recent wind and storm event.

Please be advised removal of Splashtown Manitoulin Inflatable Waterpark will be taking place at the Government Dock Beach and Park on Lake Mindemoya at 524 Ketchankookem Trail, Mindemoya, ON on Saturday August 24th, 2024 and Sunday August 25th, 2024. 

Providence Bay Fair August 16th, 17th and 18th, 2024. The “fair” is one Manitoulin Island’s most popular events.
