The Municipality of Central Manitoulin in partnership with Manitoulin Streams Improvement Association successfully opened Mouth of the Mindemoya River in Providence Bay, ON to allow spawning salmon to access the river. The work was conducted on Friday October 4th, 2024 under an approved Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry work permit.

Save the date! The Bazaar, Bake Sale and Luncheon will be on Saturday, November 9th, 2024. Bake sale and bazaar from 11 to 2, and luncheon from 11:30 to 1 at the Mindemoya Community Hall.
It's that time of year again! Let's show our community spirit by decorating for Harvest Glory Days 2024!
"The Manitoulin Pickleball Club, will be hosting a number of Introduction to Pickleball Clinics, for those ADULTS (18+) that have never played the sport before. If you would like to be notified of future clinics dates and times, please feel free to register your interest.
Nets, balls and paddles (feel free to bring your own paddle) will be provided. Each clinic will be approximately 120 minutes. There is NO CHARGE for your participation.
Mobile Wellness is a new pilot project designed to improve access to mental health and addictions care for people who live in the District of Manitoulin. Mobile Wellness is an initiative supported through Noojmowin Teg Health Centre.
Complete this course to gain confidence and experience with computer techniques, specific software applications, Internet research methods, and more to excel in the workplace or postsecondary programs.
The last day of the Central Manitoulin Summer Fun Program will be Friday August 30th, 2024. Thank you to all of the participants and to our summer students Erin and Allison for running such a great program.
In celebration of 150 years of postal service, you are invited to stop by the Providence Bay Post Office on August 30th, 2024, between 2 pm - 3:30 pm, for a piece of cake and the opportunity to learn about the post office's history
